The same core idea: tasks that schedule themselves
Motion popularised AI auto-scheduling: give tasks a duration and deadline and let software find the time. Syna³ does the same thing — priority-ordered, deadline-aware, inside your working hours, re-planned when things change — and adds an at-risk list that shows exactly which tasks won't make their deadline, by how many minutes, and why.
Where Syna³ is different
Motion is built for teams as well as individuals, with projects and workspaces shared across people. Syna³ deliberately isn't: if you run your own week — a consultant, founder, freelancer or agency owner — there's nothing to configure.
- checkA free-forever planner — auto-scheduling isn't behind a paywall
- checkPlans before you connect a calendar, so it's useful in minute one
- checkA notetaker that joins your meetings and turns action items into scheduled tasks
- checkSingle-user by design: no workspaces, seats or team setup to wade through
- checkDeclined and “free” meetings don't consume your capacity
Meetings close the loop
The thing Syna³ adds is the other half of your week: meetings. The notetaker hears a commitment, it becomes scheduled time, then a reminder if it's still open, then a prep brief the next time you meet those people.
Questions
Is Syna³ cheaper than Motion?
expand_more
Syna³'s planner — including auto-scheduling — is free forever. The paid plans that add the AI assistant and meeting notes are $14 and $24 a month. Check Motion's site for its current pricing.
Can I use Syna³ with a team?
expand_more
Not today. Syna³ is single-user: no shared projects and no assigning work to others. If you need team project management, Motion or a dedicated PM tool is a better fit.
Does Syna³ work with Google Calendar?
expand_more
Yes, including several Google accounts in one view. Outlook isn't supported yet.
How do I move my tasks over?
expand_more
Add them by hand, by talking to the assistant, or through the REST API. Most people start with their next two weeks of work and let the rest follow.
